Black & Missing Foundation

The Black & Missing Foundation is a registered nonprofit amplifying missing persons of color, supporting families in crisis, and empowering minority communities through personal safety education and advocacy.

At BAMFI, we are committed to removing the barriers and eradicating the stereotypes and narratives surrounding our missing with law enforcement and the media. Our goal is to shine a spotlight on missing persons of color, but it takes all of us—law enforcement, the community, and the media—to help us find us.

Founded by Derrica and Natalie Wilson in 2008, the Black and Missing Foundation ensures missing persons of color receive critical attention and helps families navigate law enforcement and media systems.
